This is where it all started. The very first class taught by George--at his home workshop, from late 2000 until early 2001--a few months before he was to teach at the Woodcraft store, he tautht a "ginuea pig" class to his friend Mike--getting clear on how much progress had to be made each day, etc. Mike made a great guitar, and prepared the way for classes to come!

Here is the first class taught at George's home shop. The class started in late '01, and ended in March '02 Pictured are James, George, and Ken.

This class was held from mid '02 until January of '03 Pictured are: back row - Ron, George, and Rich. Front row, Dave, Hamed.

This class was held from late '03 (exact month unknown) until May '04. Picutured are: back row--Donnie, George. Front row--Diana, Dave. This was the first class not to use kits...Donnie and Dave did everything, from inlaying the rosette, to neck carving...Diana not only helped teach the class, but she was involved in making her own guitar--a nylon string OM--which was completed a couple of months later.

Here is a photo of the class held from Oct. '05 until May '06 This class started in George's old shop in his garage, and finished in our new shop--before it was really ready for prime time.

This our first archtop class (a 1/1 class), from April -June '07.

This is A 1/1 class, from October until early Dec '07 Pictured is George, Diana, and Ray.
Ray built a beautiful Grand Concert cutaway with Koa sides and back, and an Englemann Spruce top.
This is a 2/1 class, starting in Nov. '07, ending January 10 '08. Pictured (back row) Bill, and Dan. Front row-George and Diana (with Micah and Nugget--Diana's shop dogs). Bill built a beautiful OM cutaway of indian rosewood and sitka spruce, and Dan made a gorgeous grand concert cutaway of flame maple and englemann spruce.
This is the weekend warrior class, starting in October of '07, ending January 12 of '08.
